Refund Policy

SAFTCheck is operated by OCmods (Portugal). Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited as Merchant of Record; Paddle issues invoices and processes refunds on our behalf.

1. 14-day refund window

You may request a full refund of any SAFTCheck purchase within 14 days of the payment date. This applies to:

  • Single Fix one-time purchases (€7).
  • The first payment on a Pro or Agency subscription (€19 / €49 per month).

No reason is required. Email [email protected] from the address on the account, include the Paddle order ID (in your receipt email from [email protected]), and we issue the refund.

2. Subscription renewals

Pro and Agency subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. Cancel any time from your account dashboard or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the paid period.

If you are charged a renewal you did not intend, email us within 14 days of that charge and we refund it.

3. How refunds are processed

  1. Email [email protected] from the account address with the Paddle order ID.
  2. We acknowledge within 2 business days.
  3. Paddle issues the refund to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

4. Statutory consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable EU and Portuguese law, including any rights granted by Decree-Law 24/2014 on distance contracts. Where a statutory right grants a more generous remedy than this policy, the statutory right prevails.

We use a session cookie for sign-in, a locale cookie for language preference, and Tawk.to for the live-chat widget (which sets its own cookies when you open the chat). Google Analytics (GA4) loads only after you accept, with IP anonymisation; no advertising trackers. See our Privacy Policy.
